Andreas von Maltzan
Andreas von Maltzan approaches the scenes he captures with spontaneity, focusing on unplanned, surprising moments. Night views, cityscapes, and landscapes from Europe and Africa, along with unique textures and surfaces, create contemplative and timeless compositions. Human presence is often only hinted at through light traces and architectural details, inviting viewers to share his curious and perceptive perspective on everyday beauty.
After studying communications and business administration at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, von Maltzan began his career in advertising, becoming managing director at the innovative agency Springer & Jacoby in 1991. He later co-founded Zum Goldenen Hirschen, one of Germany's most creative agencies, and launched the online platform CYNOBIA AG in 1999. There, he developed groundbreaking projects like NEU.de, Womenweb.de, and Zuckerjungs.de, driven by his passion for creative challenges.
