A fine gold Jaeger LeCoultre calendar from 1948 with moon phase

Unique condition for this non-waterproof calendar, Pablo Picasso was a big fan of this model and had one himself. 

This watch has very elegant drop-shaped lugs and a beautiful two-colour dial with a red date ring. Combined with applied triangular gold indexes together with gold hands, this is a great watch. 

It is a little known fact that Vacheron & Constantin used to source its movements from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
