36 mm 18 ct. screwed back and crown case with a plain (!) bezel
Rolex cal 10550
yellow with gold dart indexes, sword hands and aperture for the weekly day built in english and the date
self-winding with date
Condition: mint condition!
Description: This is a very rare vintage Day Date and on of the earliest models! The reference 6611 is the “standard” early Day Date with its fluted bezel. This reference 6612 is the most rare Day Date! Inside the case back is marked at the factory with both ‘6611’ and ‘6612’ which is unusual but original. The dauphine hands have a narrow area carved out for luminous. However, the dial has no luminous dots as the vast majority of vintage Day Date dials (there was never luminous on this dial from the factory). It’s a must have watch if you are a Day Date collector.
